Drivers

Maximum 12 yrs old. Drivers over 12 may compete with track
official approval.

Must have serviceable fire extinguisher in pit.
Frames
- Any
production, custom-built or fun kart frames allowed.
(Quarter Midget cars OK)

Must be made of steel. No aluminum or titanium material.
Body
-
Bodies are mandatory.
-
Fiberglass, aluminum, plastic or steel bodies.
-
Wings roof or front allowed. Top wing sides must stay within
3” from outer most edge of kart No sharp edges. Top wing
size 3’x3’x 16” sideboard.
Bumpers & nerf bars
-
Front and rear bumpers required of Max 1" O.D. tubing. Not
to exceed outside tread width of tires.

Bumpers and Nerf bars must have rounded or capped ends. No
sharp edges.
Roll
cage & seat belts
-
Minimum 4 pt roll cage mandatory. Roll cage must be securely
welded or bolted to frame.
-
Minimum 3" head clearance. No conduit cages.
-
Cage must be constructed of steel no smaller than 3/4" O.D.
-
Minimum 4-point seat belt. Aluminum racing seat is
recommended.
-
Right side cage net, right side helmet support or a helmet
restraint is mandatory.
Wheels and tires
- Any
wheel or tire allowed.

Grooving allowed.
Brakes
-
Must be capable of stopping kart within a safe distance.
Drive
train
-
Live axle only
-
Chain guards are required.
- Any
centrifugal drum or disc clutch, no wet clutches.
Engine
-
Local Option 206 crate engine only! Must be factory sealed
LO206 Briggs & Stratton engine.
-
Engine tech will be performed under current year WKA tech
rules.
Fuel
-
Pump gasoline only. No performance enhancements or additives
allowed.

interpretation or deviations of these rules is left to the
discretion of the officials. Their discretion is final.
